The guys over at Zercustoms bring us an interesting piece of news. They say that “a North American court has decided the Government is allowed to track you car via GPS.” Moreover, the decision means that:

“A Police officer is allowed the approach your car and install a GPS on it if it’s parked in your driveway. Your driveway is essentially a public space, so the Police is allowed to investigate, meaning it can also install a GPS tracking device on your car. After installing the GPS, they are free to monitor your position without a warrant.”

Basically, the USA government could be tracking your car via GPS and I’m sure that many of us are not comfortable with this. There are two ways to get around this problem: first, you can look for the GPS device and take it off or, second, you can use a GPS jammer. The thing with the second solution is that it’s illegal and it jams any GPS device in your car and in the nearby cars.

That being said, what do you think: will the government track our cars and what would you do about it?

Brabus’s passion for Mercedes Benz is a well known fact, but for a while now we’ve noticed the tuning experts have a new crush and it’s called Apple. So they’ve decided to take this passion to the next level and create a kind of vehicle of their own, technology and tuning wise: the Brabus iBusiness. In order to do this, they’ve fitted a Mercedes-Benz S-Class with all things Apple: 2 Apple iPads, two seat-mounted multimedia screens, a 64GB iPod Touch and a 15.2-inch headliner-mounted Mac display. Oh, did I mention the iPads control all the car electronic system?

If you’re done licking your lips, here’s a little treat for those who care for inside beauty as much as exterior one: the S Class is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.3-liter V12 that deploys 750 horsepower and 995 pound-feet of torque. Drool away… I know I am.

If there’s a bad ass driver inside of you, but one who cares for the environment and drives a Toyota Prius, there’s still a chance for you to quench your thirst for a loud, aggressive engine. If you can pay $150, you can get Approaching Vehicle Audible System for your Prius.

What does that do, you ask? Well, the external speakers are meant to signal the approach of a Prius. I guess that the Japanese didn’t feel comfortable with the Prius sneaking up on the as quietly as it did. Still, they’ve managed to create a sound that creeps me out. But in order to see what I mean, check out the video below.

New angles on improving car technology is heading our way and it will probably change the way we think about cars and the way we use them. This time, Nissan is not working on just a marketing concept, but on a useful, medical technology: it’s developing a climate control system that can pump breathable vitamin C into the cabin and keep your skin moisturized. Also, their research is focused on creating a new type of car seats that can adjust blood flow and can help you throughout long distance drives.

I don’t mind a car giving me health benefits, as long as I can drive it to my own taste. Breathing healthy stuff while flooring it can’t be that bad, now can it?
