Social media day

Posted on June 30th, 2010 by Andra Zaharia

More than 90 countries all over the world are celebrating today, each in its own way, the great thing in our lives we call social media. This day has made me realize that maybe we take the technology we use for granted and we look too far ahead (not that it’s a bad thing), when we should enjoy more the things we have. Social media has turned our world and our lives around, changing a lot about the way we receive information, about the way we socialize and about the way we make friends. It has opened a door into a world fully of possibilities, some of which are yet to be explored. Now that I’m done with my plea, I’ll invite you to watch live streams from all over the world, courtesy of the social website, Mashable. One more round of applause for Mashable, because these guys kick ass!
Below, you can see the stream from Bucharest, which will start in a few hours.
