A lot of people see games as a distinct reality, but is it really? I believe it’s not the case. I think playing games is more a part of our daily routine than we actually acknowledge. Games are challenging and they are motivating, so bringing more gaming into our lives can only help us be happier and perform tasks without adding stress to our work. For these reasons and many more, I’d like to share with you an interview I read on CNN.com with Jesse Schell, a game designer and Carnegie Mellon University professor. You can read it here.
He says one of the best things about a game is that it can be won and that gives us a sense of closure and fulfillment that we don’t get in real life. What do you think?
